How to Set Up Favicon Cart Count in Vairo

The Favicon Cart Count feature displays the number of items in a customer's cart directly on the browser tab icon. This helps remind customers about their cart even when they're browsing other tabs, encouraging them to return and complete their purchase.

How to Set It Up​

Step 1: Enable Vairo App Embed​

  • Make sure the Vairo App Embed is enabled before setting up Favicon Cart Count.
  • If you haven't enabled it yet, follow this guide: How to Enable Vairo App Embed.

Step 2: Activate Favicon Cart Count​

  • Open Vairo in your Shopify Admin.
  • Navigate to Page enhancements > Favicon Cart Count.
  • Click Activate feature and Save.

Step 3: Customize the Favicon Cart Count​

In the Appearance Settings section, you can customize the colors of the Favicon Cart Count to match your store's branding.

After completing the setup, visit your storefront and add a product to the cart to verify that the cart count appears correctly on your browser tab.
